Seyi Makinde to Tinubu

Oyo State Lead representative, Seyi Makinde has uncovered why he upheld President Bola Tinubu to win the last official political decision.

Makinde said that he took the choice perceiving that the time had come to pursue areas of strength for a that would reposition the scene of Nigeria’s vote based system now and not at future decisions.

Makinde spread the word about this on Tuesday at the initial service and supper of the continuous Pentecostal Association of Nigeria (PFN) Public Leader Retreat 2023 at the Waniq Occasion Center, Jericho, Ibadan, Oyo State.

He in this manner encouraged church pioneers and Christians on the loose to keep on mediating for the heads of the country as per the sacred writing.

“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”

Citing the book of Timothy 2:1-2:

Lead representative Makinde encouraged Nigerians to supplicate and uphold the public authority in power, regardless of whether they enjoyed him, for the state and the country.

“As Christians, we can carry out the work God has assigned to us more effectively until we have political stability as a nation.

“Just as the PFN runs a single term of four years in office, which I am hearing for the first time. I am also a supporter of single-term structures.

“As a matter of fact, I didn’t want a second term. I told the fathers of faith that four years is not enough to do everything you want to do, but it is long enough to make an impact and go your way.

“But if we get the opportunity to discuss this, I think a five- or six-year single term is good.

He additionally focused on the job of the collection of Christ in remaking Nigeria, as the Holy book has expressed the significance of petitioning God for the heads of the country.

“Politics is over; it is time for governance.

“Well, if we don’t like those in authority, we have another opportunity in another four years to vote again. But in order to accomplish that, we must start now by joining the political parties.

“These pioneers that God has requested that we appeal to God for are results of who the ideological groups present to us, and when these pioneers have been picked, we are committed to petition God for themselves and work with them as indicated by the Book of Timothy 2:1-2.

“Ideological groups will travel every which way, however our nation remains. We should petition God for those in power.
